Churches (St-Augustines)

June 10th, 2008

What an interesting topic "Churches"! How'd that come about? Simple...We started in the business of painting churches in 2003 when St-Augustine's had a tender open for painting their sanctuary. We placed a very aggressive bid knowing that the rest of the church would be up for tender within a few years. We wanted our shot, and well, we got it, and we nailed it! They were impressed enough to offer us a chance at bidding the remainder in 2005. We were up against two other local companies and ended up getting the contract. To date, it is our still one of our largest accomplishments and definitely still amongst our favorites. Not only did we do it right, but we did it fast. Armed with 7 employees and a game plan, we got things rolling on November 14th. We implemented our own systems and tackled it in a unique way. We applied 200 gallons of paint on the walls and ceilings, cleaned up on the first Friday so that mass could be held on both Saturday and Sunday, started back on the following Monday and finished up on Wednesday the 23rd. We ended up totalling 700 man hours of production.
